We’re excited to announce that our first pre-beta, i.e. “alpha” development release is now available for testing!
The team has been hard at work the last few months improving AffiliateWP in some key areas for the upcoming 2.8 release. We’re thrilled to show you some of what we’ve been up to.
The headline features for AffiliateWP 2.8 will be:
- Merging of the Blocks add-on into AffiliateWP core
- New blocks for building custom affiliate registration & login forms
- Some highly-requested improvements for customizing dynamic coupons
- Under the hood improvements for how and when we create referrals
- JavaScript translations
- and more!

To get your hands on an alpha copy of AffiliateWP 2.8, all you need to do is install AffiliateWP with a valid license, enable the “Development releases” setting in Affiliates → Settings → Misc, update and you’re done. We highly discourage installing development releases on a production site as the code is not guaranteed to be stable.
